Welcome 
North Road Nursery is an extended project of North Road Academy and is an independent provider of services for children aged between 3-4. At North Road Nursery we aim to extend and nurture children through the Early Learning experience by using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS 2012) Curriculum as a guidance to build upon foundations laid at home. The base of North Road Nursery is a previous Local Authority school which has been extensively renovated to house a modern style, fully equipped Nursery.
Essentially, North Road Nursery is here to support parents who we see as the child’s first Educators. We seek to help each child to reach their full potential in a healthy, safe, caring environment.
At North Road Nursery our standards are derived from the EYFS 2012 and the Childrens Act 2006 and are carefully controlled through inspections by Ofsted, the local Fire Service and the Environmental Health Department.
All of our staff at North Road Nursery have enhanced clearance from the Criminal Records Bureau before any unsupervised access to children.
North Road Nursery aims to help children become successful learners and confident individuals whilst instilling and preserving Islamic values.
Opening Times
North Road Nursery is open all year round except during Public Holidays and Eid celebrations. (For further detail please refer to the Nursery Prospectus)
The opening hours are as follows:-
Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Morning Session - 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Afternoon Session - 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
EARLY YEARS EDUCATION FUNDING
The Government entitles all 3 & 4 year old children to 15 hours of funded childcare through the Early Years Education Funding. Your child is entitled to a maximum of 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. Please contact North Road Nursery for further information.
